This year, I’ve been talking a lot with staff about the power of moments—the big and small experiences that shape our lives and create lasting memories for our students. Like the third graders I saw twirling with joy and excitement after this month’s field trip to the CK Performing Arts Center to watch The Nutcracker. Or the sixth-grade band students at Ridgetop playing a hallway concert, cheered on by their classmates. It was a beautiful reminder that encouragement and kindness can turn even ordinary moments into something memorable.
I’m grateful for all the ways our staff, families, and community help create these special moments for our students each day. As we head into winter break, I wish you a holiday season full of joy, kindness, and moments that matter!
