First Day of School 🏫

We have a tradition here at Ridgetop where we start the year together and end the year together! This year will be no different. On the first day of school, we will start out with an all school assembly in the morning. When students get here, they can head straight to the gym. We will also have schedules for students as well.

September Focus 👨‍🎓

This year, every month we are going to have a specific character focus that we are working on as a school. For the month of September, we are focusing on Professional Student. More to come on this in the weeks ahead!

Fall Sports Are Almost Here: Is Your Student Ready? 🥎

We’re looking forward to an exciting season of Raider pride, teamwork, and fun! Fastpitch tryouts, Track & Field practices, and our Cheer interest meeting are all happening the first week of September. Please see the dates below and make sure your student is fully cleared to participate:
  • Fastpitch Tryouts: September 3 (open to 6th–8th grade girls)
  • Track & Field Practice: September 3 (open to all students)
  • Cheer (Year-round) Interest Meeting: September 5 during Advocacy (open to all students, there will be tryouts later in September)

To ensure your student is eligible to participate on Day 1, their Final Forms account must be completely up to date and cleared by September 3. This includes:
  • All required parent and student signatures
  • current sports physical on file

Mrs. Lauth (ASB/Bookkeeper) and Ms. Frank (Assistant Principal/Athletic Director) will be reviewing and updating forms before the season begins. If you need help uploading a physical or aren’t sure where to start, this guide can help.

As shared last week, we’re also partnering with Peninsula Community Health Services (PCHS) to offer on-site sports physicals at Ridgetop on August 28. Click here for more information and to schedule your appointment. These appointments fill up quickly, so don’t wait!

If you have any questions about Final Forms, eligibility, or fall sports, please reach out to Ms. Frank at kaylaf@ckschools.org.

Let’s get ready for a great fall Raider season!

Student Handbook 📕

Here is a link to the Student Handbook. This handbook has our expectations for our students here at Ridgetop. Students will be reviewing this during the first week of school.

Drop Off and Pick up 🚗

As we enter a new school year, one of the things that I really want to stress is our drop off and pick up process.

Please ensure that if you are dropping off and/or picking up your student that you go into our parking lot area to do this. There will be two lanes of traffic as you drive through. Please remind your student to use the cross walk as they are crossing the bus lane to get in and out of school. If you are wanting to park and wait for your student, you can do so on the side parking lot. Please make sure to park in a stall and not along the road.

Please do not drop off students on Hillsboro Dr as that interrupts the flow of traffic for those that are driving through and can be very unsafe. Also, please do not drop students off in the bus lane area as busses come in and out of that area.

School Supply List 📓

Here is our school supply list for the 25-26 school year.

Roof Under Construction 🏗️

As some of you may know, our building is in the process of getting a new roof!! We are so excited to hopefully not have to deal with the random leaks that happen. But, with any construction project, it is taking a little longer than anticipated. From what I understand, the roof won't be complete before the school year starts. This shouldn't impact students as the construction company will be in the "finishing" stage of the project.
