Families,

Hello and welcome (almost) to another year!! We are SO excited to welcome all of our students and families back in. For those that are new to Ridgetop, my name is Shaun Takenouchi, and I have the privilege of being the principal here.

Each week, I try to ensure that you get as much of the important events, news, and anything else that relates to your student here at Ridgetop. If at any point you have questions, concerns, or would like to connect, please feel free to reach me at shaunt@ckschools.org.

This year, our theme is Raider Family: Where we Learn, Lead, and Grow. As some of you may know, family is very important to me. While, my own family is very important, my Ridgetop family is a close 2nd. This includes our staff, students, and our families at our school. While family is usually always a part of our theme each year, this year we are really focusing on learning, leading, and growing. I am looking forward to sharing more throughout the year how and what we are doing to focus on these 3 things.

Fall Sports will begin after school on the first day of school, September 3, 2025. The Fall Sports will include Girls' Fastpitch, Cheerleading, and Boys'/Girls' Track and Field. 

To sign your child up for Final Forms, our Sports Registration Portal, please follow this link to our website. Click on "Register Now". You will need your child's school email address to complete the process. In addition to creating a Final Forms Profile, you will need to supply a Sports Physical prior to the first day of practice.

We are partnering with PCHS to offer sports physicals at Ridgetop. Please visit this link for more info and to schedule your appt. Don't wait as these tend to fill up fast!

As some of you may know, our building is in the process of getting a new roof!! We are so excited to hopefully not have to deal with the random leaks that happen. But, with any construction project, it is taking a little longer than anticipated. From what I understand, the roof won't be complete before the school year starts. This shouldn't impact students as the construction company will be in the "finishing" stage of the project.

If you know that your student is going to be withdrawing from Ridgetop before the start of the 25-26 school year, please fill out this form to let us know. Thank you.
